Week 1 : 3/16 - 3/20 Distance Learning Assignments
Please work on these lessons daily to keep up with your schoolwork. You may write out the assignments in your notebook or on paper. Please make sure your bring all assignments to school when we return.
Remember you will need to access your reading books online through your portal as I showed you in class. (Click on the red book, select your class, click on “resources”. You will use 4 books from those resources: the Reading Writing Workshop Book, the Literature Anthology book, the Your Turn Practice workbook, and the Grammar Practice workbook)
Also remember to work on your other assignments from Ms. Ojito, Ms. Miyar, Mr. Anuez/Nunez and Ms. Placeres.

* Go to my website raffa.educatorpages.com.
* Copy the new spelling and vocabulary words in your notebooks or on paper.
* Go to your student portal and access your reading books.
* Click on the RWW book.
* Read “Stephanie Kwolek: Inventor” on pgs. 338-341.
* Read pg. 343 in your RWW book.
* Write out the information about “problem and solution” like we do in class in your notebook or on paper.
* Write out the graphic organizer from page 343. Add more details.
* Go to the Your Turn Practice Workbook from the reading book selection in your portal.
* Complete pg. 221 on paper or in your notebook. Read page 223-224 from the workbook. Complete page 225 on page or in your notebook.
* Work on i-ready for 45 minutes.

* From your student portal, reread the RWW selection “Stephanie Kwolek: Inventor” on pgs. 338-341.
* Read page 344 in your RWW book.
* Write out the information about “Biography” on paper or in your notebook.
* Complete the “Your turn” assignment at the bottom of pg. 344.
* Go to the Your Turn Practice Workbook from the reading book selection in your portal. Complete page 226 in your notebook or on paper. Answer the questions in complete statements.
* Work on i-ready for 45 minutes.

* Go to the Your Turn Practice Workbook from the reading book selection in your portal. Complete page 227 in your notebook or on paper. Answer the questions in complete statements.

* On paper, answer the questions at the bottom of pages 419 and 421.
