Week 10: 5/26 - 6/3 Distance Learning

Dear students and parents,

Thank you for all of your hard work and cooperation during this very difficult time.  I know it was challenging and frustrating at times, but we did it!  I’m very proud of everyone!

I will not be assigning lessons for these last several days of school.  I know many of you are still working on getting your previous assignments completed, so please take time to finish what you need to do for me and for all of your other teachers. Remember that we are almost at the end of this grading period. We want everyone to finish strong!

We will have a zoom chat on Tuesday, May 26th.  Both Ms. Ojito and I will meet with our classes.  Ms. Raffa’s class will meet at 9:00 a.m., and Ms. Ojito’s class will meet at 9:30 a.m. I will email the zoom information.

Please continue reading daily, and working on your i-ready as well.  You should have 60 minutes completed for this week and next week. I will still be available on remind each day if you need my assistance, and of course please email me whenever you need me.

I hope everyone has a happy, healthy summer.  I am wishing you all good luck next school year as well.  Do a good job – I know you can do it!

As many of you may already know, I am retiring at the end of this school year.  After 37 years of teaching, I have decided it’s time to close my school books. blush It is certainly a bittersweet decision, but I wanted to tell my students that I will miss you all and thank you so much for being part of my journey. Stay well everyone!

Sincerely,
Ms. Raffa
